KAMBIZ MAANI
Systems Thinking
Hello,
This is Kambiz (named after an ancient Persian King - no relation). From childhood, I have been taught that “the World is but one country and mankind its citizens” — my first lesson in seeing the big picture. This has led me to live, visit and work all over world [in five continents]. Being exposed to diverse cultures, I consider myself a global citizen and a systems thinker.
My work-life has been varied too – first educated and worked as an engineer, then moved to academia where I have held diverse roles as senior academic leader, professor, author, speaker, executive educator, and consultant. My books on systems thinking and complexity represent my latter work and passion. They are known internationally and have been used at universities, government agencies and corporations around the World.
